Elliot
Elliot has been writing and performing songs since he was a teenager. He is the front-man of the band, plays guitar and more recently has also mastered music and video production.

Tony has been playing drums for more years than he cares to recall. He has played with a number of original bands, cutting his teeth on the function and club circuit as a teenager, before meeting Elliot to form the backbone of Fozz.
John

John currently plays Bass for Fozz along with a number of other bands. He and Tony have been playing music together in one form or another and are now well into their fourth decade of musical collaboration!

Longevity
Fozz formed in 2000 when three like-minded musicians got together to work on playing and performing the original and award winning songs written by front-man Elliot Foskett, later playing on the national stage to critical acclaim.
The band morphed in style when Elliot and drummer Tony Lacy were joined by new bassist John Wilkes. Together they released their first full studio album, ‘Dates, Mates & Carving Knives’ followed by their second studio album.
Fozz are a three-piece indie rock band from the UK blending punchy, melodic songwriting with sharp social commentary and a streak of dark humour. Their music sits somewhere between the angular wit of Squeeze and the sneer of early 2000s indie, with a nod to Britpop, post-punk, and the kind of songwriting that actually has something to say.
Their lyrics tackle everything from media hysteria to personal betrayal — always delivered with energy, edge, and a knowing wink. Songs like “Everyone’s An Expert” rip into modern armchair doom scrolling culture, while tracks like “Damaged Goods” and “Life’s The Wrong Way Round” lean into the emotional weight of disillusionment and ageing without losing their bite, whilst the song "A Step In The Wrong Direction" protest's at the current state of world politics and the chilling move to the right wing - we must not repeat history!
Fozz have played at many prestigious and iconic venues and festivals such as: Fiddlers Elbow - Camden, The Half Moon - Putney, The Cavern Pub - Liverpool, The Horn - St Albans, Steamworks - Sheffield, Ruggerfest - Milton Keynes, The Maritime Inn - Plymouth, The Old Swan - Earls Barton, Togfest - Milton Keynes, Salmon of Knowledge - Manchester, Folk On The Green - Stony Stratford, Cowperfest, The Craufurd Arms - Milton Keynes..... picking up awards along the way for their original material, and gaining an ever growing audience on social media. They’re currently recording their third studio album, and are looking forward to expanding further into the European scene.
Live, Fozz are tight, engaging, and no-nonsense — a band with chops, charm, and a setlist that flips seamlessly between anthemic originals and unexpected covers where needed, all delivered with purpose and personality.
They’re not here to ride trends. They’re here to mean it!
